All right… I admit it… I was feeling so bad that day that I needed some sort of avenue to distress. I think this was only last week… haha! i can’t remember 😀 well, it was originally a bad day, so why not place it in oblivion right? haha!
My brother Toffer called me up, fetched me and gave me a dinner treat at Hyatt Hotel Manila. WOW. haha! Each person costs Php 1,800.00 ++ 🙂 nice treat huh? 😀
I’ve eaten a lot of times at the Market cafe at Hyatt Manila and it was always a superb experience. I guess besides from Bellevue Manila’s Cafe de Asie and Traders Hotel Manila’s Latitude buffet restaurants, Market cafe is among the top 3. 🙂 Being in my top list means good service, great food, excellent dinning experience 🙂

For your information, Market Cafe’ offers a wide variety of cuisines. From Filipino to Chinese to Japanese to Korean to Italian, from cooked to raw, from liquors to sodas to coffee to desserts. Each section is arranged per to type of cuisine to make it easier for clients to choose among what is available. They also have this “live kitchen” where you’ll see chefs cooking on high powered flames whenever you order something raw to be cooked.
Anyhow, enough said… here are the selections we tried that night:
grilled steak – yum! PROMISE!
japanese? sushi, california maki and raw fish for my brother’s hungry tummy 😀
a mixture of shark’s fin and shrimp dumpling
wouldn’t be complete without the sauce 😀 – soy sauce with lemon and chilli sauce
nilagang baka soup – boiled beef soup made from cow’s bone marrow and beef chunks spiced with pepper, fish sauce, onions and green veggies
salmon grilled to perfection! so soft but so tasty!
buttered shrimps 🙂 no… they’re not physically abused shrimps… haha!
since i was not in the mood, instead of taking a picture of myself, i took a photo of my soda, my bag and the shrimps… all in orange color 😀
